There are three classes of Amateur Radio licences in Australia, the Advanced, Standard & Foundation

ADVANCED: The AOCP (Advanced) syllabus and related examination reflects the knowledge, skills and experience required to safely assemble and operate an amateur station at the highest level without interference to other users and services.

STANDARD: The AOCP (Standard) syllabus and related examination reflects the knowledge, skills and experience required to safely assemble and operate an amateur station at an intermediate level without interference to other users and services.

FOUNDATION: The AOCP (Foundation) syllabus  and related examination reflects the minimum level of knowledge, skills and experiences required to safely assemble and operate an amateur station at an entry level, without interference to other users and services.

COSTS

Assessment Cost (Under 18) - $35.00   (Over 18) - $67.00

Callsign fee - $5.00 Admin fee or $20.60 if wanting to pick your own call sign

ACMA Licence fee $64.00
